Canadian visa centers have stopped accepting passports for processing documents in Russia. This is stated on the Canadian government website.

It is noted that visa centers in Russia will no longer accept passports and documents from January 28, 2026. The date of the possible resumption of work has not been announced.

“The government of the country suggests that Russians choose another visa center located outside Russia to apply for a visa,” the statement said.

The Canadian authorities have not disclosed the reason for this measure or the date when the visa centers will resume their work.

  • Rostov-on-Don
  • Vladivostok
  • Yekaterinburg
