The anniversary Calgary Justice Film Festival (CJFF 2025) returns with a three-day marathon of documentaries on human rights, social justice, the environment, and civic responsibility. On its 20th anniversary, the organizers will present approximately 25 films from Canada and around the world. All screenings are free with prior registration.
Among the special events is a Ukrainian focus:
Family Album — screening Friday, November 7, 8:30 p.m.
Nukemailing — screening on Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m.
In parallel, there will be an art exhibition, Sunflowers of Hope, by Firefighter Aid Ukraine — works by Ukrainians in Canada will be available for viewing and purchase from Friday at 5:30 p.m. to Saturday at 6:00 p.m. All proceeds from sales will go to support the WOW's rehabilitation center in Ivano-Frankivsk (psychological and physical assistance to people affected by the war).
