Опис події

The Calgary Toy Show & Sale is a family-friendly exhibition and sale of collectible toys in Calgary, catering to both collectors and children. The event typically features thousands of Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and other die-cast models, LEGO, minifigures, Barbie, Disney, Star Wars, Transformers, Funko Pop, Pokémon, board games, plush toys, and other modern and vintage items across a wide price range—from budget-friendly trinkets to rare collectibles. The organizers explicitly position the show as family-friendly and emphasize that it is an event “for children of all ages.”

Date, Time, and Location

The upcoming spring event, as listed on the official website, is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Edgemont Community Centre, located at 33 Edgevalley Cir NW, Calgary, AB. Organizers report that this time the venue will be fully booked—83 vendor tables across three rooms—and that vendor spots sold out in just a few minutes, so visitors can expect a very diverse selection of goods.

Event Format and Tickets

The event has a simple and convenient format for visitors. Tickets are sold only at the entrance and only in cash: $3 for adults, $5 for a family ticket (maximum two adults), and children under 16 get in free. Free parking is available on-site, and the location can also be reached by public transit via Dalhousie Station with a transfer to buses #77 or #54. Organizers recommend coming with bags rather than empty-handed, as the selection is usually large, and vendors’ payment methods vary: some accept only cash, while others also accept cards or e-transfer.

Atmosphere and Additional Activities

The event itself has the atmosphere of a small city festival. Throughout the day, prize drawings are held for visitors, and at the previous show, the Mini Donuts Canada food truck was a hit—the organizers have announced it will return for the next event. In addition, the Calgary Toy Show & Sale combines entertainment with charity: in 2025, the organizers donated $2,500 to Inn From the Cold, and they explicitly state that higher attendance helps them raise more funds for this organization.
