Опис події

CycleFest is a free family-friendly cycling festival in Calgary organized by Youth en Route. The event will take place on June 6, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the East Village / The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland area. The festival is designed for families, children, youth, and anyone interested in bicycles, an active lifestyle, and safe travel around the city.

Guests can look forward to Learn to Bike sessions for children and youth, guided rides through downtown Calgary, community booths, local vendors, food trucks, bike-related demos, and family-friendly activities. The event is suitable for both experienced cyclists and those just getting started with cycling culture.

An entertaining and educational format

CycleFest is not only entertaining but also educational. The organizers want to show that cycling isn’t just a sport, but a convenient, healthy, and affordable way to get around the city. For children, it’s an opportunity to learn to ride with more confidence; for parents, it’s a chance to spend a day outdoors; and for the entire community, it’s a chance to get to know active transportation in Calgary better.

What to bring

To participate in guided rides or cycling activities, it is recommended that you bring your own bike, helmet, and water. The event takes place outdoors, so be sure to dress comfortably and prepare for the weather.
