Stand-up comedy fans are invited to a solo show by Galim Kaliakbarov—one of Kazakhstan’s most famous comedians and a resident of Stand Up Astana. As part of his international tour, the comedian will visit Calgary with a new show that combines sharp observations of life, self-deprecating humor, and relatable jokes about everyday life.
Galim Kaliakbarov is known for his laid-back style, his ability to find humor in ordinary situations, and his genuine connection with the audience. His jokes focus on family life, relationships, raising children, the challenges of adulthood, travel, and modern society. As a result, his performances resonate with and are accessible to a wide audience.
Guests can look forward to a full-length solo show lasting approximately 1.5–2 hours, during which the comedian will present all-new material. The show will be performed in Russian and is recommended for audiences 18 years of age and older.
The event is organized by Stand Up Astana in collaboration with RegArts Productions. The organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as seating is limited.
