Gulbash Fest

Online / Remote

Опис події

From September 5 to 7, 2026, Millarville—about a 30- to 40-minute drive from Calgary—will host Gulbash Fest, a three-day festival of music, outdoor recreation, and Ukrainian culture.

This isn’t just a concert—it’s a full-fledged festival experience for a long weekend. Guests can bring their tents, set up camp in the camping area, spend time in nature, participate in daytime activities, meet new people, and in the evening, listen to live music and dance by the stage.

In 2026, the festival is moving to a new location in Millarville. The site features a large open area, plenty of greenery and trees, a river, the necessary infrastructure, and a separate children’s area. This year, the event will be open to guests of all ages.

Music Lineup

The first headliner announced for Gulbash Fest 2026 is Ukrainian singer, songwriter, guitarist, and music producer DOVI.

His fans may know him for songs such as “Waiting at Home,” “On the Balcony,” “Let’s Leave It As It Is,” “I’ll Wait,” “Calmly,” and “If This Isn’t Love.” In September, the artist will travel from Ukraine to perform for festival guests.

The organizers also plan to announce another headliner.

The evening program will include:

  • live performances by the headliners;
  • concerts by cover bands;
  • performances by original music projects;
  • over 15 DJs;
  • two separate stages—the main stage and the EDM stage;
  • an evening and nighttime music program.

Thanks to the two stages, guests will be able to choose between live concerts and electronic music.

Daytime Activities

Gulbash Fest is designed so that guests have a great time not only in the evening. The daytime program features various activities for relaxation, socializing, and meeting new people.

Visitors can look forward to:

  • morning workouts;
  • yoga and meditation;
  • games of “Mafia”;
  • trivia contests;
  • scavenger hunts;
  • team-building activities;
  • theater workshops;
  • DJing classes;
  • group walks;
  • organized tours;
  • a Ukrainian bar;
  • tastings of traditional dishes.

You can spend the day being active or simply relax in nature, chat with friends, and enjoy the atmosphere of the festival town.

Camping and Outdoor Recreation

Camping is an important part of Gulbash Fest. The full-price ticket includes access to the festival grounds, a spot in the camping area, and parking, so there’s no need to pay for these services separately.

In the camping area, you’re allowed to cook your own food and bring alcoholic beverages. On the main festival grounds, alcohol will only be sold in a separate area for visitors aged 18 and older.

Guests will be able to pay for purchases with bank cards. The organizers plan to make one-day tickets available closer to the festival date.

A Festival for the Whole Family

Gulbash Fest 2026 will have no general age restriction. You can attend the event with friends, a partner, or the whole family.

The new venue features a playground, and the daytime program includes activities that will appeal to guests of all ages.

A separate 18+ zone will be designated for the sale of alcoholic beverages, so the main festival grounds will remain accessible to families with children.

Charitable Support for Ukraine

Gulbash Fest combines music, culture, and charity. Charity auctions will be held during the festival, and all proceeds will be donated to support Ukraine.

The organizers report that the aid will go to two organizations that the festival has been supporting for the past three years:

  • Victory for Ukraine;
  • Brigade for Ukraine.

An additional contribution from the organizers will depend on the festival’s financial results, but supporting Ukraine remains one of the project’s main goals.

The Atmosphere at Gulbash Fest

In previous years, the festival has drawn around 700 guests, artists, volunteers, and crew members. KAZKA, Pianoboy, TAB with the Kalush Orchestra, TVORCHI, ENLEO, and Vadym Krasnookyi with Mad Heads have all performed on its stage.

The organizers emphasize that the unique atmosphere of Gulbash Fest is created not only by the artists but, above all, by the guests themselves—open and friendly people who come to dance, relax in nature, meet new people, and spend the weekend together.
