The CPKC Holiday Train will once again visit Calgary and transform a winter evening into a real Christmas show under the open sky. On December 12, the brightly lit train, decorated with thousands of lights, will stop at Anderson C-Train Station, where the legendary Canadian band Barenaked Ladies will perform on a special retractable stage. Guests can enjoy a 30-minute live concert featuring favorite hits and holiday songs, a cozy atmosphere, hot chocolate, and sing-alongs under the open winter sky from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Calgary Locale

The Holiday Train has been traveling across Canada and the United States for 27 years, bringing holiday cheer to cities while collecting funds and food for local food banks. Admission to the event is completely free, but visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to support local families in need. This is a family-friendly, kid-friendly event that brings the community together: everyone is welcome, whether you come for the music or just want to experience the true spirit of Christmas alongside the sparkling train.
