UCDS invites Ukrainian teens in Calgary to the opening of the Teen Club—a space for lively conversation, making new friends, fun games, and sharing ideas!
Moving to a new country brings not only new opportunities but also challenges, especially for teens. Making friends, adapting to a new environment, and feeling like part of a community can be difficult.
That’s why UCDS is creating Teen Club—a place where teens can be themselves, speak Ukrainian, find like-minded friends, and spend time in a friendly atmosphere.
What’s in store for participants?
- Live conversation in Ukrainian—a chance to discuss interesting topics and share your thoughts.
- New friendships—meetings with Ukrainian peers who also live in Calgary.
- Board games—fun activities and a chance to get to know each other better.
- Your own ideas and projects — a space for creativity, initiatives, and collaborative activities.
- A friendly atmosphere — an environment where you can feel comfortable, be yourself, and find support.
Teen Club isn’t just another class or lesson. It’s a chance to take a break from school, spend time with peers, and become part of Calgary’s Ukrainian youth community.
