We invite Ukrainians in Calgary to a free informational Zoom meeting on an important topic: the digitization of employment records and work history documents for the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Many Ukrainians living abroad may not know that documents confirming work experience or education must be entered into the Pension Fund of Ukraine’s electronic registry. This is especially true for periods prior to 2004, as these years may not be counted toward insurance coverage if the relevant documents are not submitted and digitized.
⚠️ Important: The deadline for digitizing documents is June 10.
During the meeting, participants will learn:
- ✔️ who needs to digitize their employment record book and work history documents
- ✔️ which documents to check and prepare
- ✔️ what to do with old, damaged, or incomplete documents
- ✔️ what a CEP is and why it is needed
- ✔️ how the Pension Fund of Ukraine portal works
- ✔️ what mistakes can affect the crediting of work history and future pension
- ✔️ what Ukrainians currently in Canada should pay attention to
This session will be useful for anyone who has work or educational experience in Ukraine, especially prior to 2004, and wants to ensure that these years are correctly recorded in the Ukrainian Pension Fund system.
