Le Cirque de France invites Calgary residents and visitors to an exciting family show, GRAVITY, which will take place under the Big Top circus tent near Marlborough Mall. Audiences can look forward to about 90 minutes of spectacular entertainment combining modern circus arts, extreme stunts, and family-friendly fun.

The program features aerial acrobats, tightrope walkers, roller acrobats, a fire show, dazzling light acts, and clown performances. One of the main highlights will be a performance by Canada’s only FMX motorcyclists, who will perform stunts inside the circus tent. All acts are performed by professional artists from around the world, and the show itself combines the traditions of the European circus with modern special effects.

The show’s producer is Desire Cardinali Chaves—a seventh-generation member of the world-famous Portuguese circus dynasty, the Cardinali. The program also features a performance by international tightrope walker Geoffrey Berhault, who performs complex acrobatic maneuvers at great heights.

The show is performed entirely without animals, so the main stars of the performance are the performers themselves—their skill, strength, coordination, and artistry. The show is suitable for audiences of all ages, and children under 2 years old can attend for free. The event will take place rain or shine, as all performances are held under the Big Top. Free parking is also available for visitors.
