Throughout August 2026, the Ukrainian youth art project PROSTO NEBYLYTSI will be presented for the first time in Canada at the Calgary Central Library.

The exhibition will feature selected works by young artists from various regions of Ukraine. This marks an important international milestone for the project, as PROSTO NEBYLYTSI is reaching a Canadian audience for the first time in its fifteen-year history.

PROSTO NEBYLYTSI was founded in 2011 as an independent Ukrainian cultural initiative. Its goal is to support the creative development of children and youth, discover new talent, and introduce an international audience to the works of young Ukrainian artists.

The presentation in Calgary will be not only an artistic event but also a symbolic bridge between Ukraine and Canada. Through the language of art, visitors will be able to see how the younger generation of Ukrainians perceives the world and conveys their emotions, imagination, experiences, and cultural identity.

The exhibition will be of interest to families, children, artists, members of the Ukrainian community, educators, and anyone who wants to support Ukrainian culture and see the work of young artists from Ukraine.
