We invite you to Santa Pup Photos, an event organized by a local organization that rescues dogs and finds them loving homes. The event will take place on Sunday, November 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Shawnessy Barn (224 Shawmeadows Rd SW). This is a great opportunity to spend a family day, take holiday photos, enjoy treats, and at the same time support dogs in need of care.
🐶 Meet the rescue dogs
You will be greeted by charming tails: Winston, Greta, Goose, Pinta, Jakey, Yodi, Mary, and other dogs looking for their forever homes. You will be able to:
- meet them in person;
- talk to volunteers;
- learn more about adoption and fostering;
- ask any questions about the processes, requirements, and opportunities for helping.
This is a great chance to get a feel for each dog's character and temperament, not just from photos, but in person.
🎅 Santa Pup Photos
A special holiday treat — Santa Pup Photos: bring your dog (and kids too 😉) and take a Christmas photo with Santa.
- Minimum donation: $20.00
- All proceeds go towards veterinary bills and care for CB Rescue dogs.
🍰 Christmas Bake Sale and treats
During the event, there will be a Christmas Bake Sale with homemade baked goods “for donation,” so you can grab something tasty to go with your coffee and support a good cause at the same time. Guests will also be treated to coffee and snacks — the atmosphere will be warm, friendly, and filled with holiday spirit.

Come with your family, friends, and, of course, your pets. Every donation, every cookie purchased, and every photo with Santa is real help for dogs waiting for a chance at a new life.
All funds raised go directly to veterinary expenses and daily care for CB Rescue dogs.
