Threads of Winter: A Fairytale Ball & Sustainable Runway Showcase is a winter evening in the format of a “fairytale ball” with an emphasis on sustainable fashion: the organizers invite guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of winter glamour and watch a show of collections created with a more responsible approach to consumption in mind.
The event is positioned as the debut “fairytale fashion show” from The Aquativity Project (TAP), an initiative that works with themes of reducing excessive consumption and eco-anxiety.
In previous projects, TAP has already held runway shows with products made from recycled/upcycled materials and combined fashion with a community format (activities, communication, networking).
So “Threads of Winter” can be seen as a celebration of creativity and style, where fashion is a way to talk about environmental habits and choices.
